Agadir (AWN) | Issni N Ourgh Film Festival is a unique take on the Amazigh film project. Presented by Issni N Ourgh International Amazigh Film Festival, its mission is to encourage and promote the growth of independent young Amazigh filmmakers as well as the festival is a big opportunity to socialize with Amazigh actors and film makers to explore and dive deep into Amazigh culture, identity and history.
The level of filmmaking experience by the filmmaker can range from beginner to professional. Filmmakers may submit their own work directly to be considered for participation in the festival. A group of media and arts professionals will select the final group of filmmakers to participate.
According to the organizers, there is no restriction on genre or subject matter, however, all entries must respect the local Amazigh cultural values.
Final awards will be given to the film that the committee recognizes as the most outstanding film of those created for the festival. Participating filmmakers will also receive gifts from the event sponsors.
