Amazigh Americans to Hold Rally at Algerian Embassy in Washington, DC in Support of Kamal Fekhar

Kamel Eddine Fekhar
Amazigh Americans organize a rally in support of the Mzab leader Dr, Kamel Eddine Fekhar who has been jailed by the Algerian government for over a year and a half now.

Early Last week, Dr. Fekhar has begun a hunger strike to protest the unjust imprisonment and inhumane treatment along with his Mozabites colleagues in Ghardaïa prison.

The rally will take place on Saturday, December 10th, 2016 at 12:30PM in front of the Algerian Embassy in Washington DC and it coincides with the International Day of Human Rights.

We call upon all Amazigh people in US and the American public to join the rally to express solidarity with the detainees and to support the just cause of the Mozabite people.
